Car history: |
This '69 Corvette T-top has been restored and is in excellent condition. Exception are: a few minor stress fractures in the rear deck paint, but other than that, the paint is in excellent shape with virtually no ding, rock chip. The passenger side vent cable is broken. I have the interior drivers-side window crank escutcheon, but it is not installed. New wiper blades are needed (never drive it in the rain). Power steering and power brakes. Non-tilt steering column. It has been constantly garaged. I have owned it only since October '08 when I purchased it from a friend who had it more than 20 years. The exterior is entirely original; the interior door panels and carpeting are reproductions. All gauges work except the clock and were replaced about 10 years ago. The car has a newer stereo/cassette radio and rear speakers have been installed behind the seats. Just prior to my purchase, the previous owner had installed newP245/60R15 BF Goodrich tires, a complete new brake system including master cylinder, a new T-905 Turbo muffler/exhaust system; new plugs & wires. All have less than 300 miles since installation. Since owning it, I have had the heads redone and a valve job and installed all new hoses. The engine runs strong and is a 350/300 with a Edelbrock "Performer" intake manifold and a relatively new (5 years) Quadrajet per the previous owner. It has a manual four-speed transmission. All smog hardware has been removed. The car has Rally wheels. Seat belts are installed, and I have the original shoulder belts -- with new springs and seat hardware, but they are not installed. Included are the original T-top bags. The rear window has been replaced with lucite. 114,000 miles. Colors from the owner. Built date is H06. August 21, 2009. |
